The Cultural Center for the Arts in Canton, Ohio is an award-winning designed complex set on more than nine acres near the downtown business and arts districts. Donley’s Concrete Group performed 30,000 sq. ft.of concrete deck repairs and traffic membrane application overtop of the Canton Cultural Center’s finished 330,000 sq. ft. arts facility while it was open and actively being used. The two months of renovations were completed in June of 2017.
During the project’s seven-month schedule at this condominium community in Lyndhurst, Ohio, various structural concrete and waterproofing repairs were made across Acacia on the Green’s elevated parking deck and below grade slab-on-grade. This parking deck was in use by the public during the project, which included several $100,000.00 + cars parked in the deck during construction. With rigorous planning and safety measures, no vehicles were damaged. The cost of the project was over $1.6 million and completed in February 2016.
The renovations at Progressive Field consisted of concrete removal, waterproofing, and replacement of approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of elevated structural deck topping slabs. Most of the work occurred during the Cleveland Indians’ off-season. Donley’s also took advantage of the Indians’ schedule in the summer to remove, waterproof, and replace approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of concrete while the team was out of town. Donley’s is currently off site, but will return in the fall of 2017 to complete the project.
Donley’s Restoration Group is serving as Design Assist Subcontractor to repair and upgrade Cuyahoga County’s 40-year-old parking structure located at Lakeside Avenue and West 3rd Street in downtown Cleveland. The 1,100-space, 4-level garage provides parking for the Justice Center, Cuyahoga County Courthouse, Cleveland Convention Center, and the new Hilton Cleveland Downtown Hotel. Scope includes extensive structural concrete repairs, waterproofing, and various upgrades to meet ADA compliance standards. Full depth beam replacement occurred 50 ft. above grade and was shored during demolition and replaced after, to allow parking operations to continue. The project is scheduled for completion in late summer 2017. The contract is valued at over $10 million, making it DRG’s largest project to date.
Dealer Tire’s new headquarters project in the Midtown area of Cleveland kicked off in the Summer of 2016 and was completed in March 2017. Donley’s completed the 650-car parking deck that will be part of the company’s relocation.
Donley’s served as Construction Manager for the development of Notre Dame Village. The Village is a community of living and learning on the Sisters of Notre Dame Campus in western Geauga County, Ohio. The expansion offers independent and supportive residences for adults 65 years of age and older. Residences include cottage homes, independent living apartments with services, and memory care assisted living.
The project includes an 80-unit apartment complex for independent living with an underground parking garage, as well as a 36-unit memory care residence for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Phase two consisted of the construction of 50 cottage homes, each 2,100 sq. ft. with a two car garage.
Donley’s is serving as a concrete contractor in the development of the Pinecrest Building Complex in North East Ohio’s East Side. Scheduled to open in the spring of 2018, the finished project will be a sub-urban downtown, with a mix of retail, offices, luxury apartments and a hotel. The 58 acre development site will have 400,000 square feet of retail space.

1885. Over 100 years later, time had taken its toll on this Cleveland Memorial.
The foundation of the 180 ft structure needed to be repaired and supported.
