Donley’s provided concrete services on the 305,672 SF Empire Columbia (formerly Assembly Street) in Columbia, South Carolina. The apartment complex comprises 228 residential units for students attending the University of South Carolina.

Empire Columbia’s amenities include study lounges, a conference room, a computer lab with free printing, a rooftop fitness center, including saunas, and a coffee bar.

We delivered the foundations, retaining walls, columns, sheer walls, SOG, post tension structural decks and amenity deck. Donley’s placed a total of 15,000 CY of concrete, 811 tons of rebar, and 165,000 LB of post tension cable in the 105,000 square feet of structural deck. The project commenced winter 2016 and Donley’s portion was completed in fall 2017.
