During the project’s seven-month schedule at this condominium community in Lyndhurst, Ohio, various structural concrete and waterproofing repairs were made across Acacia on the Green’s elevated parking deck and below grade slab-on-grade. This parking deck was in use by the public during the project, which included several $100,000.00 + cars parked in the deck during construction. With rigorous planning and safety measures, no vehicles were damaged. The cost of the project was over $1.6 million and completed in February 2016.
Acacia on the Green Condominium Association selected Donley’s Restoration Group to restore their parking garage. Donley’s worked with EDI Building Consultants, the engineers on this project.
The scope of work included:
- 83,000 sq. ft. of vehicular membrane removal & replacement
- structural concrete repairs
- post tension cable repairs
- carbon fiber structural enhancement
- foundation on wall waterproofing
The 135,100 sq. ft. post-tension, cast-in-place concrete parking structure accommodates 355 vehicles on five levels.
Donley’s is also served as the Construction Manager for a new 135-room hotel that includes three meeting rooms that can be combined into a space of approximately 1,800 square feet, an indoor pool, an on-site fitness center, and a “Coffee to Cocktails” bar that serves food and beverages to guests and other patrons of Legacy Village from early morning through late night.
Located in Legacy Village, this hotel is the first of its kind to make its home at the lifestyle retail and office destination. The hotel and parking deck maintains the feel of and complements the surrounding structures. The exterior of the six-story hotel features a combination of red brick and pale blue, gray, and tan concrete, while steel accents, reflective blue-tinted windows, and a triangular module on the roof give the structure a modern feel.
