On Racism and Discrimination

The ongoing acts of injustice against Black Americans and the resulting protests demanding change remind us all that we can and must do better.  These events cause us to reflect on the words of Martin Luther King, Jr.:

The time is always right to do what is right.

We must do a better job of doing what has always been right — eliminating the racism and racial injustices in America. We have been listening and learning during these troubled times, and we will continue to listen and learn.

At Donley’s we treat all people who work here as family. All employees, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or where they live, deserve a positive work environment where they will be respected and allowed to grow and thrive, in a workplace that supports honesty, integrity, respect, trust and responsibility. We are determined to provide workplaces in our offices and on our jobsites that are free of any form of discrimination and harassment.

Donley’s will continue to support organizations dedicated to building inclusion and racial equality throughout our community and in the construction industry in order to move us all forward.

People and building community wherever we work are central to our core values. We’re all in this together and are dedicating ourselves to doing what we can to be part of a real and lasting solution.
